Every fiberglass shower and tub-shower at EverFab is made from a custom multi-layer blend of hand-rolled fiberglass, a high-strength spray core, and a resilient gel coat finish. This meticulous manufacturing process—handled by real people—creates  the best bath-tub showers in the business. They’re lighter and stronger than competing showers, with higher glass percentage and the durability to persevere through shipping and installation without cracks or damage.

Our Five-Step Manufacturing Process

1. Our technicians start by applying a thick polyester gel coat to an open shower mold, which is custom-selected to fit the precise shape and dimensions specified by the customer. This gel coat cures into a UV resistant, bacteria-inhibiting shell that will protect the shower’s surface.
2. EverFab’s expert craftsmen will spray an initial fiberglass layer onto the unit next, and roll it out by hand for smoothness and consistency.
3. A coating of spray core follows, to fill any remaining air gaps and enhance the structural strength of the unit.
4. Our proprietary EverFab Core Material makes up the next layer.  Whereas the plywood or cardboard used by other brands would inhibit the proper bonding of fiberglass resin layers at best (and create peeling, swelling, and separation at worst), EverFab Core Material actually helps every layer in the composite to chemically bond. It’s also more rigid, more durable, and 50% lighter, preventing warping or waving while making the whole unit easier to transport and install.
5. Finally, an additional layer of fiberglass is rolled on by hand (as with the first layer) for a final boost in the shower unit’s strength and quality.
